Abstracts of the Title of Mr. Thomas Howland to a plot of ground and messuage thereon in Wilson Street in the parish of St. Paul, Bristol. (Later deeds to 1814 have been added to the abstract). Lease for 1000 years by way of mortgage for £300 - 1) Thomas Howland late of Stapleton, Glos. but now of Bristol, house carpenter 2) Isaac Smith of Bristol, house carpenter to 3) John Gayner of Backwell, Som., cordwainer of plot of ground bounded on north by Wilson Street and on south by a Burying Ground and house erected thereon by Thomas Howland. Indemnity against endorsing a promissory note - John Gayner to John Cornish of Bristol, gent. - dwellinghouse and garden in Wilson Street, St. Paul's. Assignment of term to attend the inheritance - 1) John Gayner of Chepstow, Mon., victualler to 2) Thomas Howland of Bristol, house carpenter and 3) Joseph Guest of Bristol, gent., his trustee - premises as in 8974/2. Lease and Release - Thomas Howland late of Stapleton, Glos., but now of Pensford, Som., house carpenter 2) Francis Newbery of Bristol accountant 3) Isaac Smith of Bristol, house carpenter 4) Joseph Guest of Bristol, gent 5) Wm. Cox of Pensford, timber merchant to 6) Mary Stratton of Bristol, widow - plot of ground in Wilson Street (of which the plot in 8974/2 is part) and messuage thereon.
