  • 36 Henry VIII To grant lands in the several tenures of David Clark, John Galampton, John Wyke, Robert Wall, Robert Bawe, Joan Horn, John Verman, Agnes Yong, Thomas Gatcombe of Grove, Thomas Gatcombe of Burden the younger and the elder, Agnes Hurloke, William Weke, Roger Frye, Emma Bound, John Bridge and Joan Wall, all in the manor of Powlett Gauntes, County of Somerset, and worth £29 2s 6d yearly, besides 64s 9d paid to the King for tenth, and held of the King in chief to Alexander Popham, Bartholomew Combe and John Kent to the use of the said Richard and Jane his wife and the heirs of the said Richard Dated at Westminster
